We stayed at Flag City RV Resort...a swimming pool, spa, store and a dog park.  Would be nice if they had a playground there.  The pool made up for that. 

I don't like to complain, but if you have kids this is NOT the place to go if you have any choice.  The management is very rude to kids and so were the older people in the park.  Complaining about things that did not happen.They also told Brooke that they had mail for us, so Brooke kindly offered to take it to me.  The lady said that she couldn't take the mail until I returned the laundry card. They have cards that act like a debit card for using the laundry machines instead of using quarters, you put money on the card and insert it into the machine.  (Those cards were really nice!)  I happened to still be using the card to do laundry and had every intentions returning it to them.  I thought that was very uncalled for on their part.  Isn't it illegal to withhold someones mail?  Also, we left before our time was over that we paid for and they shorted us over a hundred dollars.  We paid for 28 nights in advance (better deal that way) and we were told that they divide $705.00 by 28, so we pay the same for each night.  So in the case that we had to leave before the 28 days is up, we would get a refund based upon the days we stayed/didn't stay.  Well thats not how it went down.  Oh well, live and learn, right?

The pool is all I heard about all day, the girls loved the pool.  Beautiful weather - but poor air quality while we were there because of all the fires!   We got lots of sun.  We went to Yosemite and Sequoia Parks and to the ocean.  Lots of photo's below.   Jason & Mary W. and their kids, Bailey 12, Elisabeth 5 and Iesha 17, were next door.  They travel like we do.  There was another family that stayed there from Lousiana and they had 3 girls ages 7, 8 & 12 and the girls loved to play with them as well. We went to 6 flags this with our Jason & Mary, terrible place to bring small kids!  Jason & Mary were so nice and kept Brooke with them so Michael & I could take the babies home to swim and nap!

Savannah turned 3 while we were here and we had a little party for her on her actual birthday, August 2.  See Savannah Photos for the pix from her birthday.

Lots of fresh fruits and veggies here for very reasonable prices! We really miss that!
