May 17th 2009 to November 22nd 2009

On 8-20-09 we flew my sister Jessica to Chicago to help me drive to MN with 3 kids, 2 dogs, so I could have the baby in MN. Michael stayed in IL to work and came back several times to see us - and to hunt - the job ended and he came back home - to HUNT some more :)

6-23-09 Michael found a BEACH!!!  He has had the last 3 days off - so nice - he took us all to the beach to go swimming this morning for a few hours and it was a blast!!!

We are staying at the Champaign Sportsman Club.  Very nice campground with a lake, weekend hay rides, BINGO and a nice playground for the girls.  Also, Michael and Brooke are keeping busy weekend nights with BINGO and weekend days with fishing & golfing at the course right across the road.

We found a place to go to church nice and close to here called Lake of the Woods Church, with similar style to the vineyard.  Click here to go to the church website: http://lowcmahomet.org/
We also found a HUGE Vineyard Church in Champaign, which is about 9 miles away.  We have decided we like both places and are going to go to both for now.  Click here to go to the Vineyard Church website:  http://thevineyardchurch.us/

May 1st 2009 to May 17th 2009

We parked our camper at Hickory Hill Campground while we went to South Carolina to visit Michael's family, we moved to the campground above because it is much closer to Michael's jobsite.

In the process of moving from one campground to the other we had a mechanical failure with the 5th wheel and the truck which resulted in over $4000 damage to the truck and a still unknown amount to the camper.  Somehow it came unhooked from the hitch!  Photo's right below.  We are blessed that it didn't come unhitched while driving down the interstate going 65mph and that it come undone while still in the campground.  We were being watched over for sure!  If that would have happened someone would have likely been killed.

Photo's of the accident are right below.
