Riviera, Texas 12-5-2009 to 3-12-2010
Michael and Brooke went on a Deep Sea Fishing Trip 1/23/09. After throwing up twice, Michael said Brooke picked up a fishing pole and was quite the trooper! She was on a 80 foot boat with 30 some grown men (most of whom also threw up more then her) and caught the BIGGEST fish of them all. Way to go Brooke!!!

ARRIVED!!! My sister & mother helped me drive down, Jessica did most of the driving - thanks sister! 4 kids, 2 dogs & 3 adults plus lots of luggage made for a full car! Michael bought me a 2007 Saturn Outlook, which is awesome so far! It took us 4.5 days to drive down. Almost 2,000 mile trip, we stopped at the Inner Space Caverns in North Texas. http://www.myinnerspacecavern.com/about_us.php
They stayed for 2 weeks and flew out from Harlingen TX.

We went to an African Safari (Texas style of course) rode a ferry, went shell picking at several beaches on the ocean shore: N & S Padre, Mustang, Corpus Christi - visited a couple museums, rode around to see the wildlife and did lots of shopping.

Michael is in Texas now. Sure do wish we could be with him. I have court and my van is in the shop so the rest of us are in Minnesota until court is resolved and my van is fixed OR I trade it in on something else - bigger - then we will be heading down - can't wait to get to warm weather!
